Malachi 3:10 says “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it”
It’s not just about financial giving, though certainly that appeals to our greed. No, this says that whatever measure you give by, by that measure will you have it returned. That’s true of Love, respect, time, honor, forgiveness, patience, money, concern, stress, anger, hate, bitterness, unforgiveness… you name it. What you show to the world is returned to you in bushels. The “secret” to a happy life? Count it all joy and send out only that which is good. Harder than it sounds, but the dividends are incredible.
