It’s funny to see the Lord work. “Still, small voice” my behind; He is loud and obvious and forceful. Oh, sure, He’s a whisper when inspiring you, but when He has a message every blessing lamb in the flock shouts it out.

Walk This Way
2 Chronicles 19:2-3 says “And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD. Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.”
Torn
The last line of this article tore the heart out of me. They were words spoken of miscreant science; the bitter, dripping lies of Satan. They are words borne of the absence of a close relationship to Christ, the words of the highest evolution of scientific perfection — the first, and chief accusation Lucifer hurled at God: Love is not enough.
Hail to The King
There has been a lot of discussions in my life lately that revolve around a particular topic that is ultimately really about justice vs mercy vs grace and our understanding of our relationship to the Lord.
No Stairway
Stomp the Yard
The first time I watched this video I heard, but I didn’t truly understand. And you can see that Malcolm, too, is blinded a bit by his intellectual bias and misses the larger point, the larger opportunity to inspire.
So please watch it and then read the rest of my post. It’s 15 minutes plus reading, I know, but you’ll manage it.
If You Build It…
Hurt So Good
Malachi 3:10 says “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it”
Knock, Knock
Give a Little Bit
It’s not just about financial giving, though certainly that appeals to our greed. No, this says that whatever measure you give by, by that measure will you have it returned. That’s true of Love, respect, time, honor, forgiveness, patience, money, concern, stress, anger, hate, bitterness, unforgiveness… you name it. What you show to the world is returned to you in bushels. The “secret” to a happy life? Count it all joy and send out only that which is good. Harder than it sounds, but the dividends are incredible.
